3. Sensitive patient and admission information
Admission forms may contain health, identity, location and other sensitive information. Access is limited to authorised personnel who need it for review, care or follow-up. Please submit only information relevant to the request and confirm that you are authorised to provide information about another person. An online submission does not guarantee admission or emergency response.
4. Donations and SSLCommerz
Online payments are processed through SSLCommerz and the payment providers available through its checkout. Payment-card, mobile-wallet or banking credentials are entered on the payment provider’s systems and are governed by their privacy and security terms. Bewarish may receive and store transaction identifiers, amount, status, selected fund and donor contact details, but does not intentionally store complete card or account credentials on this website.
5. When information may be shared
We do not sell personal information. We may share the minimum necessary information with authorised Bewarish staff and care teams; hospitals, laboratories, emergency services or rehabilitation partners involved in a case; payment processors and financial institutions; hosting, email, messaging, security and technical service providers; or government, law-enforcement and regulatory bodies where required by applicable law or necessary to protect a person’s vital interests, safety or legal rights.
6. Photographs and stories
Patient photographs and personal stories can create particular privacy and dignity risks. We aim to publish them only with appropriate informed permission and to limit unnecessary medical, identity and contact details. Permission for future publication may be withdrawn by contacting us, although we may not be able to retrieve material already lawfully printed, downloaded or shared by others.
7. Cookies and embedded services
The website may use necessary cookies for login, security, language selection, forms and site operation. Embedded maps, videos, social-media links or payment services may receive technical information and set their own cookies when used. Their handling of information is controlled by their own policies.
8. Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including restricted administration access, access controls and service-provider protections. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for care, follow-up, safeguarding, accounting, dispute resolution, organisational records and applicable legal obligations, after which it may be deleted, anonymised or securely archived.
9. Your choices and requests
Subject to applicable law and the rights and safety of other people, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw optional publication consent, or ask for deletion or restriction. Some information may need to be retained for patient safety, legal, accounting or record-keeping reasons. We may ask for identity or authority verification before acting on a request.
10. Children and people needing support
Where information concerns a child or a person who cannot provide informed permission independently, it should be submitted by a parent, legal guardian, authorised representative or responsible professional, except where urgent safeguarding or vital-interest considerations apply.
11. Legal context and policy changes
We handle information in accordance with applicable laws and safeguarding responsibilities in Bangladesh. We may update this policy as our services, technology or legal obligations change. The current version and its update date will be published on this page.
